I usually never comment on other people’s blogs, I usually just respond to the comments I get on mine (however that statement was besides the point)
I was looking The Killers video for Read My Mind on You Tube and I came across your cover of the song. Honestly speaking I was extremely impressed. I don’t often hear good live music, and another thing, you were original, despite the fact that it was a cover you managed to be yourself and not desperately try to copy their specific sound and style.
I can imagine you must get a lot of comments (that is so the ‘60 crawled in my brain and died there), but that wasn’t really the reason I wrote to you. I found your voice very pleasant, soothing I would dare to say, to listen to, and I was wondering if you could send me an mp3 or something, with the read my mind song.
If you are uncomfortable with that I get it, I know one can become possessive, especially with things they hold dear.
Anyway keep up the good work, and try to do a cover. That would be wicked

I’m a 15 years old girl from Norway who was watching “Iris” by the goo goo dolls on youtube, and then I suddenly saw your cover of the song. I just thought – wow! Then I watched a lot of the other videos and I found your web site.

So I found ur blog too! LOL Dave u rock, i know u r tired of hearing this but i still got to say it again and again.
I dont know how often you check ur blog but i prefer postin here is more neat and clear than youtube and myspace.
So I just wanted to say, when i go back to my country, this june, i would like to play on air one of your songs. If you want me to if it’s ok with you of course, you can choose the song if you want and i ll give you the link to listen the station online and the date and time so you can hear it playing on the radio.

so im sure it sounds creepy but i listen to ur song “Promise” everyday because it has become a favorite of mine. The way u did the video is way nifty. I found u when i was listening to “The Love Will Tear Us Apart” by Joy Division and i was astonished. my YouTube user name is britelizzy and I’ve left a few comments there so i wont bother repeating myself. I have a slight question concerning this thing though.
You have sections of your blog that link to your friends sites. How on earth to you do that? I’m finding this thing really hard to use and the help section doesnt guide me at all haha/
